No better place than Richmond House. Polite personnel, enjoyable base for a short stay. We had a canal view from our room. It's a few steps away from The Lock Inn, good for a little drink...

Great value for money for Fort Augustus. A good choice of extra supplies: a heating system and ironing facilities. The continental breakfast suits us well. Fortunately, free WiFi was available.
